You eat all your vegetables and you do all your workouts and you still can’t lose weight.
Even if you are doing everything perfectly you can be making some little mistakes that might cause you to stay stuck at a certain weight
Here are a few things that might be holding you back from reaching your goals
Only Focusing on the Scale Weight.
There are so many other things you should focus on besides the scale. Being healthy is much more than your just your weight. Too many people use the number on the scale to define us.
Eating Too Many or Too Few Calories.
It might seem simple to not eat if you are trying to lose weight.
“When your calorie intake is too low, you may not get all the nutrients your body needs. Additionally, your body's natural response to a decrease in food can lead to your body's metabolism slowing so that your body can conserve energy. In the long run, this slowing metabolism can lead to weight gain.”
Your body will go into survival mode if you are malnourished.
Your body will start to conserve energy and put calories towards your most basic functions.
When it does this your body burns fewer calories
Not Exercising enough or Exercising Too Much.
Some people are born naturally thin or with small frames so they don’t have to workout to keep weight off
So many people think that they don’t need to exercise because they are already thin
Exercising does much more than just burning calories to lose weight
When you don’t exercise, you start craving unhealthy foods. One you start craving unhealthy foods it’s not easy to stop
Not Lifting Weights.
Working out increases your sleep quality and you get more out of your sleep hours. The better your sleep, the easier it is for your body to fight off disease and it helps your recovery.
Choosing Low-Fat or “Diet” Foods.
low fat diets sound good in theory, but those diets only account for the amount of fat instead of the quality of the fats being eaten
The good fats that you eat actually help your cholesterol by clearing the bad cholesterol (LDL) using the good cholesterol found in healthy fats (HDL)
You are definitely not the only person that are doing these things to your own detriment.
