10 Awesome core exercises that are better than crunches or sit-ups

Making athletes warm up by doing crunches or jogging laps is considered idiotic in the well being of athletes.

elementary and middle school athletes who are growing into their bodies must focus on neuromuscular training… balance, stability, and inter muscular coordination.

Doing 100 crunches or sit-ups will not get you to that goal

On top of that, they do not transfer over to any athletic or real life endeavor.

People doing crunches do not take into account how the core isn’t just made up of anterior muscles. The core has muscles all around the body.

An athlete that can stabilize and control his core and exert force in all directions will be a much more effective athlete.

Instead of spending time doing hours and hours of crunches, these are some good core exercises that build muscle all around your body.
